Who are the staff members at HMBC?
At Hammond Mill Bible Camp, we believe the safety and well-being of our campers is of the utmost importance! Each volunteer is required to submit to a background check and has completed a mandated reporter training prior to serving at camp. Each camp has Directors who plan out all activities and keep things running smoothly. Cabin Leaders are some of the most important volunteers at HMBC! They stay in the cabins, supervise activities, and establish a relationship with campers to ensure they have the best experience possible. You can also expect to see a Nurse, Paramedic, or other qualified medical staff member who ensures medications are given as needed and are present in the event of an injury or illness. We also do our best to have at least one staff member with lifeguard experience, and many staff members are CPR certified. The team at HMBC is made up of many other wonderful support staff, such as our AMAZING camp cooks, security guards, and camp speakers. It takes a team to keep camp running, and at HMBC, we are blessed with many of the very best!
